Momentum surfaces with this EP release on Ortem and pushes the 170 deep envelope a bit wider. Long time engineer and sound designer, Momentum orchestrates four tracks of lush texture and percussion which place the listener at the heart of each track.
Syncro opens up with pads and develops into scattered drums, shattered tones with hints of speed and movement, each in syncronicity.

Spliced hints at electric drums before launching into a sparse roller with touches of feedback, light sabres, a scraper and a haunting synth line. Tension builds around a spring, a power surge and a large snare.

Rapture is a spartan drum workout, which takes you on a trip through a metropolis with a feeling that something could happen at any second. It is interspersed with sounds that define its setting and illuminate the way forward.

Aquatic dives down deep, and creates the essence of water. Fractured percussion creates waves music and held tones coupled with staccato rhythms create an ethereal underwater feel.
