Metro shakes off his last 2 EP's and keeps things simple, getting straight to the point with Ortem's first digital 12 inch.

'Rock' kicks things off with a deep, but energetic half time outing, which is beautifully crafted and shows Metro's skill of keeping it stripped back but ever moving forward and constantly arresting. There is the essence of metal percussion and an electric guitar all curated with Metro's clicks, pops and crackles.

'Man One' is like being in a cavernous space, where a distant fire crackles and water drips. Aural washes and a lone reggae vocal swirl around the cave. The half time is marked by a bongo and the track builds into an ethereal, breathy synth line, which in turn is replaced by machinery, reverbs and rain in an eternal loop.

Rock on with Man One, Metro and another deep slice of audio magic from Ortem.
